Pastrami Seasoned Turkey on Toasted Rye with Caramelized Shallots

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. Kretschmar Master’s Cut Pastrami Seasoned Turkey Breast
  • 2 oz. Kretschmar Swiss Cheese
  • 3 slices Kretschmar bacon, crisp
  • ½ oz. arugula
  • 1 tsp. peppercorns, crushed
  • 1 tsp. shallots, caramelized
  • 1 ½ oz. mayo
  • 2 slices Dark Rye

Instructions

  • Toast rye bread. Place turkey and Swiss on a baking sheet and heat under a broiler for 5 minutes. Combine shallots, peppercorns and mayo in a bowl. Spread mayo on bottom piece of bread. Place arugula on top of mayo, then top with hot turkey and Swiss cheese. Place bacon on top of Swiss and put top bread on sandwich.
